Former Metropolitan Police Officer Timothy Valentin, 30, from Fort Washington, is accused of sexual assaults in Virginia and Maryland. Hes linked to attacks in Fairfax, Prince Georges, Montgomery, Alexandria, and Takoma Park. Valentin met a victim at a bar in Bowie, then assaulted her in Takoma Park. He used different aliases and is suspected in more incidents. As a former cop, his case is causing concern in law enforcement circles and fear in communities. Hes already indicted in Fairfax County and charged in Prince Georges. Investigators are urging anyone with tips to call Takoma Park police.
