25-year-old Waldorf, Maryland resident and former high school coach, Louis Delano Bowles III, faces over two dozen child pornography charges following a Charles County Sheriffs Office investigation. He was arrested in March after a grand jury indictment, with charges including possession and distribution of illegal material. Investigators used subpoenas, cellphone records, and forensic analysis to track sporadic uploads over several months. Bowles, who coached track and football at Maurice J. McDonough High School, was banned from school property after the school was notified. Forensic exams of his devices revealed hundreds of images and videos involving toddlers and young adolescents.
