Join the Michigan Theater's program director Nick Alderink, the Theater's marketing director Tara Calligan, the Theater's head projectionist Erica Gleichman, and Martin Bandyke when they'll break down all the nominated films this year and talk about who should win!
DANCING IN THE LIBRARY!
Come to the library Sunday, March 15 for a performance by Ballet Folklorico de Detroit, noon to 1pm Downtown. BFDetroit is a community-based dance ensemble dedicated to the preservation of Mexican cultural dance traditions. Through historically rooted choreography, music, and costumes, each dance illuminates the distinct rhythms, textures, and narratives of Mexico’s diverse regions. It's supposed to snow on Sunday, so come inside and get warm and watch some awesome dancing!
