Today I'm joined by author and poet, Sasha Banks. Sasha is the author or america, MINE, a poetry collection of a post-white supremacist United States of America. Sasha shares with us her inspiration behind the book, her writing process, and her visions of a future without white supremacy. She even reads us an excerpt from the collection!
Sasha and I also dive into internalized racism, centering, the distinction between discrimination and racism, and where to begin educating yourself on racism. She truly is a healer and a teacher for us all.
