From a fondly remembered childhood in Saint Lucia to the Culinary Institute of America to stints working for and with chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Scott Conant, and Norman Van Aken ... to owning and operating her own Compère Lapin in New Orleans ... this conversation packs a lot into 45 minutes.
