For all the music lovers among ALS listeners, I had a fascinating conversation today with Michael Harrison, the Publisher of "Talkers Magazine", and the host of a radio show and a podcast.
But Mr. Harrison was also a DJ at 2 of New York's legendary radio stations - WNEW and WLIR, and he's one of the creators of the "Album Oriented Rock" format. We talked about his storied career, how radio has changed through the decades, and what rock radio can teach us about talk radio.
