On Christmas, the world lost a lengendary military icon, Richard Marcinko. Marcinko served with Seal Team 2 in Vietnam and later returned to command that unit. After the fiasco of the Iranian Hostage Rescue Mission, Marcinko was tapped to create and lead Seal Team 6. A flamboyant and often controversial figure, Marcinko's expertise on special operations, counter-terrorism, and national security are well-known. The author of several books, including "Rogue Warrior", Marcinko's writings have influenced leaders around the world.
