University of Alaska Fairbanks student Graham Granger, who protested AI-generated art by eating it, has been cleared of misdemeanor charges. Granger, a film and performing arts student, consumed pieces of AI-made artwork by fellow student Nick Dwyer, damaging about fifty-seven prints. He views AI-made art as lacking substance and has paid $220 to resolve the case. Granger remains open to challenging AIs role in creative fields.
