Hundreds of runners, clad in green, tackled the fifteenth annual Shamrock Shuffle five-kilometer race in Anchorage, Alaska. Organized by Skinny Raven Sports, the event raised funds for Running Free Alaska, a nonprofit supporting female inmates through running programs. Despite the cold, participants praised the events energy and community spirit. Former inmate Sarah Hayes, running for the first time since her release, described it as a full-circle moment. Jeff Lazar won the race, followed by Atlas Payne and Brett Evans. A costumed leprechaun starter also raised funds by passing most runners.
