Show Notes
Jeron Josephs photographs of his Alaskan homeland, captured amidst a powerful storm, are now featured in a new exhibit called Sacred Ground at the Anchorage Museum. The exhibit, which opens on March sixth, showcases the stunning summer landscapes of the tundra and evokes a sense of home for displaced Native residents. Josephs photos, rooted in the Yupik and Cupik communities cultural perspective of ellarpak, offer a way to relive the beauty of the tundra and support disaster relief efforts.
