Show Notes
37-year-old Alaskan man, Richard Frye, sentenced to 13 years for drug trafficking. Frye helped move fentanyl, meth, and heroin into Alaska, including a plot to smuggle drugs to Sand Point. Frye and accomplices were caught with thousands of fentanyl pills and grams of meth. Frye attempted to smuggle drugs into jail by swallowing packets and bringing in suboxone strips. The operation was run by an inmate in California prison, Heraclio Sanchez-Rodriguez. DEA officials hail the sentencing as a win, disrupting deadly drug flow to vulnerable communities and facilities.
