What President Biden's First Veto Could Mean To Your Retirement Investments

President Biden issued his first veto over the past week. It was against a Congressional resolution dealing with what's known as ESG in finances. Basically, the resolution would have returned federal rules on managing investments to require making maximizing returns the goal. Under the Biden Administration, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) priorites can also be considered, meaning that pension or other investment fund managers can invest yor savings with activism in mind. Richard Morrison from the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the Free The Economy podcast explains how the change could affect your investments.
