There's not much media coverage of it but violent attacks against houses of worship in the United States is on the rise. According to the First Liberty Institute's Jeremy Dys, the violence seems motivated by disagreements over political and social issues. A study of the attacks was recently compiled by the Family Research Center based on reported crime data. The bottom line is that property damage, threats, and overt violence against faith-based organizations is often designed to suppress religious practice and expression.
