Show Notes
Holli Crawford tells us what she has learned to help her children learn to be resilient. Join us as she shares family challenges that taught her important lessons.
Important concepts to develop resilience:
- Communicate. Don't be afraid to share what's happening within the family being aware that the information is age appropriate
- Be prepared. Create a safe escape route for all members of the family, and identify a meeting place outside of the home.
- Teach children how to contact emergency personnel - Call 9-1-1.
- Find something positive every day, no matter what the circumstances.
- Give back. Serve others in your community
