Ambient 3: Day of Radiance fue lanzado en 1980. Es un disco producido por Brian Eno pero compuesto por Laraaji (Edward Larry Gordon). A diferencia de los discos Ambient 1: Music for Airports y Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror, Day of Radiance es un disco acústico en su mayoría con muy poco acompañamiento electrónico. Entre los instrumentos que Laraaji usa para este disco se encuentran la cítara y el dulcimer.
