Today we are joined by Charity Lighten, the chief nutritionist, CEO + co-founder of Silver Fern. Charity has been on the podcast before to talk all things gut health (Episode 85). For this episode, she wanted to share what she is navigating in real time to hopefully help others who might be dealing with grief, denial, disease, mortality and finding joy in every moment. Her husband is battling stage four colon cancer, and with four children, Charity is navigating with incredible grace. Warning, in this conversation, the three of us get very emotional. Charity talks about her call to be healthy over being skinny, her husband’s health, and how an enriching life takes effort. We are so grateful to Charity for sharing her journey and reminding us that LOVE IS EVERYTHING.
