Losing her mother at a young age, battling depression, and finding purpose through self-discovery and coping mechanisms are some of the struggles Amanda Tretter had to go through. She credits her progress to her resilience and support from loved ones. She recounts her challenges with education, mental health, and finding their passion in filmmaking. Despite setbacks, Tretter persevered and found support from Steve Cordes and others at Youth Opportunities Unlimited. Eventually, she started her production company with their help and guidance. She expresses gratitude towards their support systems, highlighting the importance of community and understanding in their recovery journeys.
