Show Notes

Cricket has long roots in North America’s history. The game was brought into the American states by the British and they continued developing it under their rule. It did become a popular sport during colonial times and the fact that the first-ever international game of cricket was played between Canada and the USA is proof that the game was indeed popular. However, during the transition during both the USA and Canada’s independence, the sport of cricket lost its charm to other sports like hockey and football in the continent. But, it is once again coming back with one of the biggest events in sports and in this podcast we talk about everything that we should know about the stage of cricket in Canada.
