Alley is still piecing together what happened over the weekend when she ended up in the hospital and DZ’s asks if his wife should start using a popular local service before she returns back to teaching in the fall. A proposed ban on cell phones at a local high school had everyone giving their opinion. DZ helps out a woman who got promoted to manager, but is the youngest person on the staff and is worried no one will respect her. A woman asks if she's the jerk for being upset her maid of honor missed her wedding for a pet death.
