In this week’s episode we have special guest AJ Piplica, a Croatian American entrepreneur and engineer. After working for years in the aerospace industry, AJ founded Hermeus, a startup that is building the world’s fastest aircraft. With the ultimate goal of producing passenger airplanes with their new technology, a flight from New York to London will take only 90 minutes! AJ was also listed on the NFCA’s 40 Rising Croatian Americans under 40, and in this episode we talk about raising 120 million dollars in funding, securing a contract with the U.S. military, and what his Croatian heritage means to him.
