The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) is used widely in large Christian ministries, Christian higher ed, and mission-sending agencies. Theologian, Krista Bontrager, sat down with Dr. Heather Peterson (Associate Professor of English and Literature) to discuss this popular assessment, challenging some of the foundational assumptions of the tool when compared to a Christian worldview.
