As part of our weeklong unveiling of winners of the 2024 Public Song Project, Juliette Reilly joins us to discuss "Summer Sang," her song adaptation of Edna St Vincent Millay's poem, "What lips my lips have kissed, and where, and why." Plus, Lincoln Center's chief artistic officer Shanta Thake joins us to discuss takeaways from the 2024 Public Song Project and share some of her personal favorite submissions and runners up. She also helps to preview WNYC's Public Song Project: The People's Concert at The Underground at Jaffe Drive, on Saturday at 6 PM, a free show that's part of Lincoln Center's Summer for the City series.
