This is the third part of a mini-series on teaching writing workshop.
Teaching writing in middle school is a daunting task. You have to plan units, teach them, conference with kids, grade them...all while teaching to multiple levels. While some kids like writing, many do not. You can make positive changes by implementing a workshop model for writing in your middle school classes. In this episode, we will talk about creating writing lessons, specifically "mini-lessons", for writing workshop.
