On December 14, 2012, Nicole Hockley dropped her 6-year-old son Dylan off at school, thinking their day would be like any other. Then a shooter entered Sandy Hook Elementary School and opened fire, murdering 26 children and staff members--including Dylan. Following this unimaginable tragedy, Nicole established Sandy Hook Promise, an organization dedicated to preventing school shootings.
