On this episode of the Alix Turoff Nutrition podcast, Alix sits down with Emily Hutchins, RD, CDN, CLC, CPT to discuss her role as a Public Health Nutritionist at the Clinton County Health Department in Plattsburgh, NY. Her work involves researching the state of food and nutrition insecurity in the community, educating and developing relationships with community partners in order to raise awareness and gather information, and developing interventions to increase the security status of her community. Emily also competes in Strongman/ Strongwoman competitions and is a certified Kickboxing instructor.
