Throughout history, the story of William Tell, Flixtor vip, the renowned Swiss marksman who rebelled against oppression, has been told via a variety of artistic mediums. The movie, which is set in Switzerland in the fourteenth century, follows William Tell's transformation from a poor farmer to a symbol of defiance against Austrian rule. Tell helps a peasant flee from Austrian soldiers at the start of the novel, which infuriates the despotic Viceroy Gessler. Tell plays a crucial role in the burgeoning revolt as the struggle intensifies, culminating in the well-known scene in which he is forced to shoot his son in the head.
