Show Notes

Salem's Lot Flixtor feels like a blend of the original story and the 2004 miniseries, infused with elements reminiscent of 30 Days of Night. As someone who enjoyed these films, I found it satisfying. The cast delivered strong performances, and the special effects were well-balanced, avoiding excess. However, I believe some characters, particularly Striker and the Glicks, could have been developed further. Nonetheless, I appreciated the pacing and the focus given to the vampires. It was unclear whether Striker possessed vampire-like abilities from the abduction scene or if he was simply a skilled ninja. Overall, I was impressed with the execution and would gladly watch it again, just as I do with the original and the miniseries.
