The Rice Owls defeated the UTSA Roadrunners for the first time in a decade, as a miracle catch lifted the home team to victory in the final seconds. It was a gut punch, but honestly a fitting ending for a team that didn't deserve to win given their school-record 16 penalties. Even more concerning was the team's poor behavior after the loss, as the team escalated some taunting from a Rice player into a full-blown brawl.
