In Episode 16 of Season 2 of The Alabama Frozen Hour, join Hannah Alpern as she sits down with Brooke and Mikalah, both serve in a Vice President role in Grow the Game. Grow the Game’s mission is to expand hockey in the south and impact Tuscaloosa’s youth through sports. Brooke and Mikalah discuss their contributions and leadership roles in the organization. They also reflect on all of UA hockey teams’ season and the upcoming College Hockey South championships this weekend that the teams are participating in. They also shares insights into their personal goals and life beyond the goals of expanding hockey.

In Episode 15 of Season 2 of The Alabama Frozen Hour, Hannah Alpern, Logan Small-Williams, and Alex Brown sit down with Tyler Zent. As the assistant captain of the D1 ACHA Hockey team, Zent discusses his leadership role and offers an honest reflection on the team's season and recent challenges. He also shares insights into his personal goals and life beyond the rink.

In Episode 14 of Season 2 of The Alabama Frozen Hour, Hannah Alpern and Alex Brown sit down with Anna Zahorchak. As a returning member of the team, Zahorchak discusses the growth of the team and what she expects in the future, including stepping into a leadership role next year as an upperclassmen. She reflects on the team's season and recaps the last regular game series of the year against HPU. She also shares insights into her personal goals and life beyond the rink, including STEM to MBA.

In Episode 13 of Season 2 of The Alabama Frozen Hour, Hannah Alpern and Alex Brown interview Avery LaRose! Avery reflects on her highlights with UA women’s hockey team, her college story, and what she hopes for her future on and off the ice. Additionally, the women’s team is preparing for two newly added games against University of South Carolina and Clemson this weekend (Feb. 7 & 8), and HPU was moved to Valentine’s day weekend (Feb. 13 & 14).

In Episode 11 of Season 2 of The Alabama Frozen Hour, Hannah Alpern and Logan Small-Williams interview our first guest of 2026, Teegan Mathey! Teegan is one of the founders of the team and since then has played a pivotal role on and off the ice. Teegan reflects on the women’s hockey team’s success so far, her and fellow founder/teammate Morgan Grzybowski friendship before UA, and her hopes to grow the game.
