Show Notes
Alabama football secures a significant commitment for next seasons offense with the addition of tight end Oakley Keegan, a six-foot-seven, two-hundred-forty-pound standout from Liverpool, New York. Keegan, the first player from New York on the Crimson Tides roster, chose Alabama over offers from Vanderbilt, Rutgers, and Syracuse. He joins fellow tight end Colt Lumpris, quarterback Trent Seaborn, and cornerback Nash Johnson in this early class. The Tide, with eight scholarship tight ends on the roster, welcomes Keegan to learn from and compete with big bodies right away. Alabamas new tight ends coach, Richard Owens, formerly of Louisville, joins the team to bolster this strength and prepare for future seasons.
