Ep 337Ajay and Nathan Discuss Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis
EWe're here today to discuss a new film directed by one of the greatest filmmakers of all time Francis Ford Coppola named Megalopolis. A 2 hour 18 minute passion project that left us disappointed. I truly wanted to like this film. Watch the video to know our full thoughts on this movie. Yes, I'm aware my hair looks horrendous in this video. It might be an homage to the bad hair cuts in this movie. Idk teehee

Ep 327Ajay and Nathan Discuss Deadpool & Wolverine
EHope you guys enjoyed the film! Watch on Youtube as that is now our preferred way of media. Follow us on our socials. Support us through Venmo!
Ep 326Ajay and Nathan Discuss Andrew Niccol's In Time (2011) | Blast From The Past
EWe're back discussing In Time, a film that is essentially a crossover between Logan's Run and Gattaca. Why are we discussing this film you may ask? Because the two of us don't have any interest in discussing Twisters and we are not that excited about Deadpool & Wolverine. Come watch this video as we reminisce over Justin Timberlake's career where nothing could go wrong for him in this film that had a lot of potential that has maintained a cult following ever since its initial release.
Ep 325Ajay and Nathan Discuss Oz Perkins' Longlegs
ENathan and I are back to discuss a new film titled Longlegs. A film that is labeled as "one of the scariest films of the decade". Does it fit that description? Or is it a well crafted film that is on par with Zodiac, Silence of the Lambs, and Se7en in which it's a great film with moments of horror that will stick with you even after you leave the theater? Check out our review to find out! It was well worth watching despite the nearly half hour of trailers that were shown before the film!
Ep 324Ajay and Nathan Discuss Ti West's Maxxxine
EWell, we're back again this week to deliver another batch of epic goodness. We recently watched Ti West 3rd and final film of the X trilogy called Maxxine. Was it an innovative horror that will have audiences talking about the film for years to come. Or was it a forgettable schlock b movie that was underwhelming for an otherwise great franchise? Well, you'll have to watch the video to find out! Be sure to like and subscribe! Because how else will you be able to get all of this goodness?
Ep 323Ajay and Nathan Discuss The Buried Secret of M Night Shyamalan
EIn honor of M Night Shyamalan releasing his new film trap, we decided to go back through memory lane to discuss some of his lesser known works. The one we had in mind was Sci-fi's 3 hour documentary titled "The Buried Secret of M Night Shyamalan". a fake documentary that was released to market what would be his final Disney film known as The Village. Did we love it? Did we hate it? Are we supposedly discussing this knowing fully well that it will do us no favor with the Youtube algorithm? Well, all of these questions will be answered through this review! You know hot dogs get a bad rap, right?
Ep 322Ajay and Nathan Discuss Jeff Nichols' The Bikeriders
EWe are back! Did you miss us? Were we missed? Has the Youtube algorithm made it so that up and coming youtube channels need to chase popular trends in hopes of getting a slight uptick in views and subscribers? Was that one of the reasons as to why we discussed this amazing film despite knowing that it won't get any views? Well, all of these questions won't be answered in this review!
Ep 321Ajay and Nathan Discuss Adil & Bilall's Bad Boys: Ride or Die
EEp 320Ajay and Nathan Discuss Ishana Night Shyamalan's The Watchers
EAfter a near 2 week hiatus, we're back to discuss a new movie. A directorial debut that everyone has been clamoring for which is Ishana Night Shyamalan's The Watchers. Is it one of the best directorial debut films of all time? Or is it eerily similar to M Night Shyamalan in which there is a long drawn out complicated plot with bad dialogue and a twist that leaves us wanting more? Well strap on in as Nathan and I try to do our best to impersonate Red Letter Media's Mike Stoklasa and Jay Bauman to give you that answer!
Ep 319Ajay and Nathan Discuss George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
EWelcome back! We're here to discuss George Miller's newest Mad Max film. A film that we watched opening weekend in IMAX where there were only 3 other people in attendance. Please watch this film in the theaters. We are very afraid that the next few months will determine the future of theaters. Ep 318Ajay and Nathan Discuss Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted (with Dan Doherty
EWe're back! It was fun discussing the Sam Raimi trilogy for the past 3 weeks. But unfortunately, we must now go back to chasing the algorithm of only reviewing recently released films. What film in particular did we choose to review? Well, it's none other than the most anticipated film of the decade. Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted. Was this film one of the worst films of the year? Or was it a sleeper hit? Watch the review to find out! We also had Boston stand up comedian and friend of the show Dan Doherty to sit with us to discuss the film. Boy, we sure don't regret that move! Ep 316Ajay and Nathan Discuss Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 (2007)
EWe're back! Here to discuss the final film of Sam Raimi's epic Spider-Man trilogy. A film that was once considered one of the worst comic book films ever made. Have the recent string of MCU and DC films changed that belief in moviegoer minds? Where the grand climax is a beam shot up into the sky? We certainly hope so! Overall, we both enjoyed the film despite having massive issues with it. But still listen to our review! Simmons. Directed by Sam Raimi.

Ep 315Ajay and Nathan Discuss Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 (2004)
EWe're back! We're back! My back! My back! Back again to discuss Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. A great film that documents the struggle of the man behind the Spider-Man mask and one of the best comic book films of all time. With great cameos from Donnell Rawlings and Joey Diaz. Did we include those names in particular to curry favor with the algorithm? Maybe! We'll discuss Spider-Man 3 later this week. Don't worry, we have thoughts. Ajay and Nathan discuss Spider-Man 2, starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris, J.K. Simmons. Directed by Sam Raimi.
Ep 314Ajay and Nathan Discuss Sam Raimi's Spider Man (2002)
EIn honor of AMC Theatres & Sony airing all of the Spider-Man films due to the disaster that was Madame Web, Nathan and I have decided to discuss Sam Raimi's first film of the Spider-Man trilogy simply titled "Spider-Man". A great superhero film that surprisingly holds up really well. No, there are no quips that undercut serious moments in this film. Thankfully, this was in the before-MCU era. Hopefully, we can review the other films in this trilogy as well. If not, then be thankful with what you have!

Ep 313Ajay Thakkar and Nathan Long Discuss Immaculate and Late Night with the Devil
EWe're back! Did you miss us? Will the algorithm work in our favor and deliver us views for this episode? Who knows! Nathan and I discuss our thoughts on a couple of horror flicks that just dropped in the theatres. Immaculate and Late Night with the Devil. We were pleasantly surprised by these films. Don't worry, we did watch Monkey Man together in the cinema the day after we filmed this episode and will discuss it later this week!
Ep 309Ajay and Nathan Discuss Love Lies Bleeding and Ricky Stanicky
EAjay and Nathan review Love Lies Bleeding, starring Kristen Stewart, Katy O'Brian, Ed Harris, Dave Franco, Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov. Directed by Rose Glass. As well as Ricky Stanicky starring Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis, Anja Savcic, Jeff Ross, William H. Macy, and John Cena. Did they love it? Did they hate it? Why are there no timestamps below? Well, you'll just have to watch the video to hear their thoughts!
Ep 306Ajay Thakkar and Nathan Long Discuss Dune: Part Two | Ajay Thakkar Podcast
EAjay Thakkar and Nathan Long review Dune: Part Two, starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling. Directed by Denis Villeneuve. No Timestamps on this pod. My apologies, but I feel as if timestamps take away from parts of the actual conversation. I was chewing my gum incessantly because I drank Mountain Dew before we taped the pod and I didn't want Nathan to experience Camp Flog Gnaw halitosis.
Ep 304Dune Part Two Review | Ajay Thakkar Podcast | Episode 302
EIn this episode, I recap the Carlos Alcaraz-Rafa Nadal match that occurred on Netflix as it took the world by storm! Just kidding. I do talk about just not the fact that it took the world by storm. I also touch on Andy Murray's comments on his future in tennis after his Dubai loss to Alex De Minaur. In news outside of tennis, I review Denis Villeneuve's new film Dune Part Two which ends one of the best sci-fi stories put to screen as well as my weekly pick which is Dan Soder's On The Road. Enjoy!
Ep 290Ajay Thakkar and Nathan Long's State of the Film Address
EIt's our Yearly Review of the Films that we have seen! We also forecast what we want to see in film for the new year. Hopefully we see more super hero movies where a beam gets shot up in the sky! Now that's cinema!
Ep 199Ajay Thakkar and Nathan Long's 2022 State of The Film Address
ENathan and i are here for a yearly recap of the year in cinema. We discuss our favorite films of the year, the sharp decline of superhero movies (Black Adam, Morbius, Dr. Strange), and what we expect for 2023. Indulge!
Ep 101Ajay Thakkar and Nathan Long's 2021 State of the Film Address
ERecapping movies with my good friend and comedian Nathan Long. See him at Winner's Circle in Salisbury and Strange Brew Tavern in Manchester Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively.
