- John, thank you for being our guest on the AIPT Comics podcast! Wiper is your new graphic novel from Dark Horse Books, can you tell listeners what they’re in store for with this series?
- The first Dark Horse press release stated this is Tropical Noir, which is such a cool concept, but one I hadn’t heard of, can you talk a little about how Wiper is tropical noir?
- Ricardo Cabral’s art is so vivid, do you have a favorite panel or page from Wiper where Cabral took what you wrote and surprised you?
- I understand you created Wiper during the lockdown, did that experience change how you write or think about story?
- Your first work, Tumult is also a noir, what is it about this genre you find so compelling to keep exploring?
- Having put together the ‘Comics Unmasked’ exhibition at the British Library in 2014, did you come away with new revelations about British comics you didn’t have before?
