The Beef Industry Long Range Plan task force unveiled its 2026-2030 plan at the Cattle Industry Summer Business Meeting in San Diego, aiming to ensure the U.S. beef industry delivers sustainable, high-quality beef to meet global consumer demand. Developed since late 2024, the plan outlines six interconnected goals: policy and supply chain viability, sustainable outcomes, public trust in safe and nutrient-dense beef, innovation and research, and animal health and food safety
