Show Notes
The African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), enacted by the United States in 2000, has long been a cornerstone of trade relations between the U.S. and sub-Saharan Africa. By offering duty-free access to the U.S. market for over 6,500 products, AGOA has aimed to spur economic growth, attract investment, and foster development in eligible African nations.
