Klein speaks about the importance of understanding and predictability to create alignment, taking into consideration the human factors in software development. "The hard part really isn't solving the problems," she reminds, "it's identifying the right problems to solve." This enables managers and engineers to translate the friction experienced during development into explicit risk models for more effective decision-making.
