- The Decouple podcast is borne out of the concern for a clean and sustainable future towards expanding human flourishing with strong support for nuclear as a way to achieving this elegant future; obtaining its name from the Ecomodernist manifesto by Michael Shellenberger and his team.
- It is not Africa's responsibility to solve the climate crisis/problem.
- Nuclear inarguably has high energy density and is only just to use it for sustainable development
- Radiation fallout from Fukushima accident did not kill anybody but rather the panic reaction to the tsunami/evacuation that caused the deaths.
- Interesting twist to SMRs not being the only viable solution and the need for humility to build nuclear power plants.
