In the dying days of his Premiership, Boris Johnson has admitted that he did meet former KGB spy Alexander Lebedev in Italy during his time as Foreign Secretary without his security detail or any other government officials.
It happened weeks after former Russian military officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia had been poisoned by intelligence officers from Moscow to the streets of Salisbury in Wiltshir.
Adrian Goldberg asks Byline Times executive editor Peter Jukes and Westminster correspondent Adam Bienkov what Johnson's admission means.
