Minister of Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has warned that the government will soon begin prosecuting canoe owners and operators who violate safety regulations on the Volta Lake. He added that investigations have been launched into last Saturday’s tragic accident, which claimed the lives of 16 people.
