A 28-year-old woman, identified as Sister Vic, and her seven-year-old son were killed by a lightning strike during a heavy thunderstorm at Mampong Sports Stadium in Akyeremade, a suburb of Asante-Mampong, around 5:00 pm. Another son sustained serious injuries in the incident.
