Arrow Energy, a joint venture between Shell and PetroChina, has filed a lawsuit against Sunpork, Australias largest pork producer, over gas pipelines planned beneath their piggery in Queenslands Western Downs. The dispute revolves around the Tong Park site near Kogan, west of Brisbane, where Arrow has secured approvals for three pipelines as part of their Surat Basin operations. Sunpork, which runs one of the states largest piggeries at Tong Park, has refused to agree to a conduct and compensation deal for the pipelines. The Land Court review is set for May, and both parties have declined to comment.
