Show Notes
Adam opens the interview talking to John Densmore about his new book The Seekers: Meetings with Remarkable Musicians (and Other Artists). John also talks about his upbringing in Los Angeles and Adam explains why he needed to mature in life before he could really appreciate The Doors’ music. Adam asks John about Jim Morrison and how accurate the Oliver Stone movie The Doors was. After that, John recalls some of the remarkable experiences he had with musicians like Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash. Before they wrap, Adam and John discuss some of The Doors’ biggest hit songs.
