Show Notes

We saw these ultra-low cost (20 cents!) 3-axis accelerometers on LCSC a few month ago and have been experimenting with them. They've got +-2/4/8/16g range, and 14bit resolution according to the datasheet. There's also tap & freefall detection which makes them a good alternative to accelerometers that are 2 or 3x the price. We have written an Arduino library to start, so far so good! On the PCB we're also experimenting with adding JST-SH connects, like Sparkfun qwiic boards. These have a regulator and level shifting so they're a little different but are compatible. https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_MSA301/blob/master/MSA301-V1.0-ENG.PDF #arduino #adafruit #sparkfun Visit the Adafruit shop online - http://www.adafruit.com ----------------------------------------- LIVE CHAT IS HERE! http://adafru.it/discord Adafruit on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adafruit Subscribe to Adafruit on YouTube: http://adafru.it/subscribe Join our weekly Show & Tell on G+ Hangouts On Air: http://adafru.it/showtell New tutorials on the Adafruit Learning System: http://learn.adafruit.com/ -----------------------------------------
