On last weeks' The Great Search, we spent some time looking for a drop-in replacement for our go-to regulator, the AP2112K-3.3 (https://www.digikey.com/short/q4wh4ftz) and we found some SOT23-5 sized parts that have a fairly low drop-out and fair current output for most of our breakouts - the AP7354 (https://www.digikey.com/short/2bznd7d3). However what we really need is something with 500mA+ current output that we can use for our Feather/Itsy/QT Py/etc. dev boards. While there are a few other SOT23-5 options that might come into stock that we'll keep our eyes peeled for, we also want to see if we can future-proof our designs to use another footprint, so that we have more options if this part shortage continues for another 2 years. Let's see what's available in smaller-than-SOT23-5 that can provide the same kind of current output! See on Digi-Key https://www.digikey.com/short/9nddjfr0
