On this weeks' Desk of Ladyada - we got a mess of prototypes including our Feather M4 Adalogger. We found a few mistakes, we'll chat about them so you can learn from us! The Great Search - USB to Serial converter chips

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, there were computers that came with DE-9 serial ports that would let you read/write 8-bit serial data on two lines. Those days are gone, now we have USB only. Many modern chips have a built in USB native peripheral so you can connect to a computer, but there's still lots of chips that don't! In that case you'll want a converter chip. Lets see what is available in the market and some things to watch out for when spec'ing them.
