Desk of Ladyada - TFT's Galore! This week at Ladyada's desk, we focused on a big TFT revision sweep - we have a new TFT supplier that can get us back to the prices we used to get. In addition to the existing TFTs we use, we also got a bunch of samples of new displays such as ones with capacitive touch. While we're at it, we're also redesigning our TFT breakouts to have EYESPI connectors, which will make testing / usage a lot easier. Let's look at what TFT samples we got and chat about different TFT types and protocols. We're looking for a slim 2x20 header, ideally one that allows 'pass through' behavior, which means SMT is best.
