Desk of Ladyada - an ESPecially fun demo of web/wifi workflow

This weekend we've been noodling around with the new ESP32 support for circuitpython. The ESP32 doesn't have mass storage but it does have wifi, so we can use that as a way to connect to the REPL and also transfer files. This stuff is all very very new in circuitpy 8.x but there's a definition for the odroid go, and it's a handy board to use because it's got a screen and battery built in for wireless testing. We also wrote up a driver for the max17048 https://www.digikey.com/short/m5n5n47f a lipo battery gauge much like the LC709 that we use. it's even in stock! The Great Search - a non-sense-resistor Lipoly battery monitor replacement for LC709203 https://www.digikey.com/short/nqr9zf5b We've liked the LC709203 https://www.digikey.com/short/p2fpd502 for a while as a low-cost, no-sense-resistor-needed battery monitor. Sadly the TQFN version is obsolete https://www.digikey.com/short/p2fpd502 and we're using the BGA version https://www.digikey.com/short/7549bd81 for now but...it's also end of line! Let's source a low cost (less than $2 in qty), I2C, resistor-less, 1-cell lipoly monitor chip that we can use when we run out of our LC709s.
