woooooo our reel of TCA8418's https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/texas-instruments/TCA8418RTWR/2172843 is on the way which means its time to wrap up this board we started designing 2 years ago! this chip can do 8x10 keypad matrices and handles a queue of 10 events over I2C with an IRQ line. It works pretty well once you get a hang of how the GPIO/Keymatrix interrupts work. now that we've got the python library https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-CircuitPython_TCA8418 all sorted out its time to wrap up the Arduino code and get this board into the adafruit shop.
