Pastor Aaron Buer continues our "Ancestors of the King" series by examining Matthew's surprising genealogy of Jesus. We explore how Matthew's unexpected inclusion of women, foreigners, and vulnerable people reveals God's heart for all people and his plan of redemption. Through this genealogy, we discover that Jesus is more than just a descendant of Abraham and David—he is the promised Messiah who came to seek and save the lost. We are challenged to reflect God's heart by valuing those society often overlooks and to embrace both his grace and his call to repentance in our own lives.
