It’s always tempting to bend the rules a little bit for a good cause. But we need to stay principled. God’s ways are better than our ways. God cares about the ends and the means. Some things I say here are very clear…others are very debatable….but as the Westminster Confession says….the final appeal must be the word of God. Lets have a Bible study about these things!

The ERLC put out a report that essentially promoted becoming obsolete as a virtue. After all, social media and YouTube makes you mean. I have been critical of Gospel Coalition/ERLC types, no question. But it isnt all bad. They taught me some important things….and in this episode I offer a gentle suggestion for evangelicals to apply their lessons more broadly. Love and blessings are not just for liberals….they’re for conservatives as well.

Elites have the luxury to hold stupid beliefs. Middle class and poor people can’t afford them. Don’t be boujee, follow God’s law. Gun Control, gender identity, minimum wage and open borders.

Thabiti of Sept 2019 posted an article questioning the existence of the social justice movement. The only problem is the Thabiti of April 2018 fully acknowledged and applauded it. So did Jarvis Williams and Eric Mason, the two people he defended of the charge in Sept 2019. I believe I have uncovered a white supremacist conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either that or the internet has a longer memory than Thabiti does.   Is There an Evangelical ‘Social Justice Movement’?

Dr. James White’s tweet overshadowed my own, but I also started a small controversy on twitter last week. This video includes a defense of AOC and some analysis of an article that was critical of my opinion on racial/ethnic hiring in the church. This is a very interesting issue and worth having further conversation over. In fact…there will be some companion videos digging a little deeper on this in the neat future.

Unfortunately the Robles household has fallen ill with both stomach bugs and colds. I cannot record new content in time for this week’s episode so this is an audio form of a video a did a couple of weeks back. Here are some of my final thoughts on a week of videos I did about the topic of reparations.

This episode is a good one to share with your friends, pastors, congregations etc. It approaches the idea of slavery reparations using simple Bible verses, common sense, and a Barbershop clip. A little bit about how I think about these issues. Hint: I’m no scholar…I just try to apply a little good old fashioned common sense.

And why does he claim bogus victimhood all. the. time? These are two things that he seems to KNOW leads to more oppression. I am perplexed….but then again…I’m just a pleb. Some people are so desperate to maintain their bizarre fantasy of a racist under every rock that they will literally believe anything that fits the narrative….no matter how preposterous. But even if you grant their fantasies….does it prove rampant systemic, institutional, problematic racism? No. It doesnt. Let’s talk about it. The irony here is so so spicy, because the most openly racist among us…are the ones that call themselves the wokest.

Popular evangelicals are constantly hating on black people. In public no less! And they are being applauded for it. And I am sick of it. The worst part is that most people are calling it good! Most people think it’s actually love! Usually it is done gently under the guise of love. But the Bible calls it hate. Enjoy.

Looking for some nuance? Well, you have come to the wrong place. There be no shelter here. That said, you do deserve some more scripture, so here it is. I hope this is helpful to you.

I’ve had it. I’ve completely had it. As the poet/philosopher DMX said, “Y’all gon make me lose my mind up in here.” I’ve had it with Christians providing cover fire for the advance of Molech in the United States. There is no moral equivalency between the Democrats and the Republicans. I’ve had it. And before you say it….No im not a Republican….but that doesnt mean I see a clear difference in voting for a Republican who isnt consistent with your values and a Democrat. There is a clear difference.

Finally! We will all find out how stupid I may or may not be. Social Justice advocates promote a lot of things that *sound* really good on the surface… but it’s a scam. It’s flim flam.
