This is one that Laura Marie and Jessica Marie will have to revisit. Less of a deep dive and more of a shallow skim, Laura Marie and Jessica Marie are discussing themes and tropes and not so much the plot of the duology. The love for Nina and Inej is strong as is the desire to age up these characters, because being a real life 17 and the dregs at 17 are two completely different things. This was recorded before the premier of the show and the excitement is clear toward the end.
They'll take a mulligan and go deeper in a re-read for season 2, promise promise promise.
